yay! life can be great! sort of forgot about that. things included in great lives: dancing, drinking, seeing as many people as possible, hanging out with only cool people, flirting. reading is good too. roof climbing. i'm needing to inform the public as to these options for an extraordinary life. perhaps a book is in order. have you seen self-help books lately? COME ON.
love, sandwich time

okay, well this is a different kind of feeling.
feeling demolished. i don't understand of believe what may be the truth. the truth almost seems harder to take. to think that there was someone out there that cared for you and you let it go. but it wasn't even your choice.

sandwiches is drinking in a new locale: denver! how exciting. here the light rail and i think the buses run until 2am which is about the time when the bars let out. why doesn't every city do this? she was a little worried that the light rail would be filled with creepy people, but is was just filled with drunk du students. its pretty fun to interact with drunk strangers your same age.
sandwiches also wonders if the men in denver are more bold. or perhaps thinks that portland has an overly pretentious/shy population. two flirting incidences with strangers? what is the deal? i guess state school people perhaps are more bold? who knows the origins of this phenomenon.
the people that i met on the light rail seemed like a lot of fun. almost wish there was some way to ever see them again.
girls just want to have fun.
sandwiches recommends: beer flights and drinking at high altitudes

another day, another drink. right now sandwiches wishes she could talk to someone. but acknowledges it is really late and can barely spell things as it is. in fact if there was no spell check you would probably think less of her than you do now. lately she has been thinking about attractiveness and how relative it is. she has been surprised that some people she considers very attractive never have really considered themselves as attractive. this is a puzzling fact. she has also come to terms with that fact that there are a fair number of people who may consider her attractive. and of course has never thought of herself as attractive. there is a realization and a hope that a fair amount of attractiveness comes from dressing well and being confident.
coming to terms with the fact that people are writing their own story for themselves has been eye opening. sandwiches wonders how much she should interfere with those stories. there is something to be said for speaking your mind. but if you should interfere with their story or worse embarrass yourself/ ruin your own story is this a bad thing?
she doesn't want to give you the wrong idea though. she really is more satisfied with herself than she has been in awhile. and is happy with her current decisions/ actions.
but she hasn't had a sandwich in awhile. every time one appears on tv, she is filled with a longing so deep its almost inexpalinable. no metaphors are appropriate.

sandwiches wonders what would happen if she only wrote in here while drunk. probably some embarrassing entries, but then all journals are embarrassing to her. wikipedia defines sandwiches as a "food item made of one or more slices of bread with one or more layers of a filling. The bread can be used as is, or it can be coated with butter, oil, mustard or other condiments to enhance flavor and texture." and time as " a component of a measuring system used to sequence events, to compare the durations of events and the intervals between them, and to quantify the motions of objects." sandwiches in this world are mainly filled with cheese, mustard, imitation meat, lettuce, tomato, and mayonnaise. time is mainly filled with television on the computer, avoiding applying to jobs, babysitting, and drinking.
